Just getting some things out of the way
I know I said there would be no posts in January, but wanted to give a quick update on what I’ve been working on this month before getting back to the regularly scheduled content starting in Feb.
Social accounts!
I’ve decided it’s time to join the 21st century and make social accounts for DBA. It’s something people have told me to do from the beginning, but I dreaded the idea of turning this thing I was doing for fun into being a social media manager. With the growth I’ve gotten in the last year though (including nearly 50 new subscribers since publishing my end of year lists!), I think it makes sense to separate the blog from my personal accounts. But since I’ve waited this long, I’ve missed out on a lot of followers on these pages. I’m behind so please show some love with follows if you like the blog!

I’ve cleared the same WIBLT playlist from last year in preparation to stock it up with fresh new songs all of 2022, so if you already subscribed/followed it last year, you’re good! Some observations
90% of the time, the first song is going to be the best song on a Mariah Carey album. She does not fuck around with track #1.
I think Da Brat’s career just exists to feature on random Mariah songs.
Caution has to be one of the best albums someone’s made nearly 30 years into their career.
